Look At All The Shapes

Think of something round

A quarter or the moon

the wheels on someone’s car

or a cookie eaten in June

Think of something square

It always has four sides

The table in your kitchen

And the napkin by your side

chorus

You see Squares, Circles, Triangles and Rectangles

Stars, Ovals, & Diamonds in all sizes, too

Look at all the shapes in this big world

An egg is oval-shaped

A baseball diamond’s cool

Pick a star in the night sky

Through the rectangle in your room

See that red stop sign

Did you know it’s an octagon?

The guitar pick in my hand

Is a triangle, let’s sing along

repeat chorus

Now we know our shapes

We only left out one

The heart inside of you

And al the nice things that it can do

chorus

You see Squares, Circles, Triangles and Rectangles

Stars, Ovals, don't forget an Octagon

Look at all the shapes in this big world

Don’t forget an Octagon (second time)
